Weird Ticking Noise From 9 to 5 MPH

I just noticed a weird ticking noise on my way home from the store. It happens (or is most noticable) when slowing down or coasting from 9 to 5 MPH. It sounds like a baseball card (not nearly as loud though) in bike spokes. The frequency decreases as the car slows. WTH? Any ideas??

I'm pretty familiar with that sound and don't think that's it. It was more frequent than the revolution of the tire at that speed too. It seemed like it was coming from the center to front of the car and not on a specific side at all.

If you go exactly 8.8 mph you'll travel thru time. You must be getting close.

(I know... I'm an ass! Hey, I could have started singing Dolly Parton.)
