My 94 z28 runs good when I first start it and is def running too rich but the issue im having is when I get about 40 miles down the road it starts cutting out n missing religiously the same place n the same way, runs perfect before that, unfortunately its about 5 miles from work each day. Any ideas?

optispark, replace it and I will bet money it will go away. Be sure while your there replace plug wires and plugs. Depending on how many miles might be time to go ahead and replace the water pump so it doesn't take your new optispark with it when it goes.

Opti spark sucks to replace/service. look at a 6-8 hour job. I would also replace the fuel filter first if it has not been done in a while. If it starts and runs fine at first and them wants to die when getting up to speed fuel filter. If it misses and runs rough under a load optispark. Good luck.

If it's the opti spark sux that you have to take the new water pump out to replace it
