has anyone read july issue of motor trend? i guess chevy didnt comp the auto review folks over there.... why else would they be hatin' on the camaro so bad?? pretty obvious ford took em' out for a drink or two though! i think dodge musta paid for a couple lap dances as well. anywho i'm still very happy with my maro and i think its a blast to drive!

Yup read it yesterday as soon as it came out of mailbox and laughed as I read it. O well .... Some are lovers and some are haters.

BTW whats up with throwing the hyundai pos in the mix? certainly not muscle car criteria imo

Motortrend is biased, took me a while to figure it out
im not saying they are biased towards one company but whats new to an extent
look at the dodge ram...OMG NEW TRUCK MUST GIVE AWARD even though it isnt that great of a truck

IMHO, all three of these cars are GREAT! If one of them is a gnat's eyelash quicker in the 1/4, or .0125 seconds quicker around a road coarse, who cares, really? If Motor Trend likes the Mustang better, who GAF. They are doing what their job description calls for and that is to evaluate cars. I bought my SS to be my car and toy. I am not a proffessional drag or road racer. I just happen to love the looks and performance of Camaros. I went through the go faster syndrome in the 1980's with the Japanese sporting motorcycles. Every time a new, faster and greater bike came out, I had to have it. I found myself buying a new liter class motorcycle every 2 years. In the early 1990's, I began to see the folly of my ways and returned to the Harley camp. I know that my Harley is not state of the art or the fastest of the gofasters going in. What I get is a classic design and a completely reliable motorcycle that I do not get sick of owning when next month's crop of magazines come out. The Mustang is this years darling. Last year it was our Camaros. Next year it will be something else. I will still have my SS. I will still be enjoying it. The motorjournalists are not "Haters", they are evaluators.

Its because Motor Trend got sick of the Camaro's styling inside and out. Remeber its not their car so they don't see what you guys see. Also the Dodge fans were complaining that they compared the original RT to the SS and GT and wanted the SRT8 to be compared which has a 45,000 dollar price range and I consider it to be in the GT500's class? Agreed?

If you guys have not relized yet that they are not biased. Camaro won last year you dont hear me saying that its biased. And same with the Dodge Ram. So the clear thing to understand is... That MT are like little kids and pick the newest of the bunch... for example

2010 Camaro SS
2011 Mustang GT
2009 Ford F-150
2010 Dodge Ram
2010 Ford Fusion

They just like new shiny objects

I care what they think because it has great sway on what alot of people buy, which in turn what manufactures will make. I have been reading MT for about 10 years now, and I do Believe they are VERY BIASED.
