LFX auto dyno

Was just wondering bieng that it's a v6 auto, if I'm going to dyno run at a shop, will I get true numbers ? I hear that it can't hold a gear 3rd or 4th. Any inputs would help.

I'm asking cause i know I can adjust the tap shift where it can be manual like the lt and can truly control when the car shifts. So just wAnna know if it will come to that. Thanks

Yes you will get an estimation based on algorithms calculated by your car's ability to rotate the drum's mass on the dyno to give you what that dyno feels are accurate power ratings. All dynos are different and will give you different numbers based on atmospheric conditions, vehicle conditions, and dyno operator. However, it should give you a fairly good estimate of power numbers whether you are driving a golf cart or funny car dragster.

Just curious as to why you want to spend the money to get a dyno reading. Planning some performance upgrades?

And yes... you could get different readings from different dynos. It's very subjective and the readings may vary greatly.

Yupp thats why. Basic mods tho. Cai with scoop, vmax tb, and also to remove the torque managem . Dyno pulls so they can better calibrate everything u feel me. And doesnt hurt to know your numbers. I'm also getting the vietese tc.

But oh okay very good to know. I'lll just see how realistic my #'s are compared to other v6's with similar bolt ons. Thankss
