Tint too dark
Well I knew it would happen eventually. Got pulled today for a tint violation. I guess 5% all around was a little to dark. Also got a ticket for blacked out taillights. All came to $500.

Knock on wood I have had 5% on all my cars for the past four years and have only got pulled over once for it but didn't get a ticket.

you may be able to fight the tail light ticket. The rules governing them are pretty loose. But either way that stinks. FIGHT THE POWER ha

That had to hurt! I was tempted do go dark but went legal instead. Looks like the right decision.

ya it hurts, but I'm going to keep it for another month. My buddy who is a cop says I have until the court date to be within compliance, just gotta keep the ticket in the car.

The problem is that cops suck for the most part. This instance seems to be an example of a cop with nothing to do but write frivolous tickets. The cop was probably jealous of your car.
