Hi all,

If anyone is interested, and off this Friday, 6/4/10, I'm planning a ride from the Mira Mesa area to Palomar Mtn. I'll probably head down to Borrego Springs for lunch afterward. I'm thinking about starting around 9 am.

let me know! I can tailor the drive, if needed...it's only me right now.

Ok, so far, only ARod55 and myself. G, I'll look for a message tomorrow evening/night if you're going to make it. We could meet you by the Chevron Station by North County Fair around 9:25 ~ 9:30 am ish...

We could plan more of these also for those who have some days off here and there. Weekends are so crowded!

Meetup is up to you. What's easier to get to? Mira Mesa directly off of I15, or Via Rancho Parkway, directly off of I15?

There will be 2 of us at the Mira Mesa Park n Ride at 9am, if that's easier

and I had a great day & drive! Palomar Mountain/Observatory was beautiful! great drive up S6 and down S7!
Delicious lunch in Borrego Springs! Thanks again for the lunch guys!

I did about 170 miles

Still averaged over 17 mpg - not sure how since all the mountain roads mostly saw 3rd & 4th

The roads were great! traffic not too bad; the cars got lots of head turns

Great day! Armando will be planning a Barrett Junction Drive and Vance an Idllywild Drive
