Just installed Stainless Works headers with no cats and Dynomax axle back.

The car needs tuned again but I can tell it runs better, but it's more quiet with this setup than when I had stock manifolds with cats and a muffler delete??????

unless that dynomax is super quiet, i don't see how it'd be quiter than just a muffler delete

Wait, you mean the dynomax axle-back right? They don't have cat-back do they? I just (2 hours ago) installed the dynomax axle-back. I had kooks LT's and high-flow cats already. Still have the stock h-pipe/canister. I absolutely love the sound now. It's louder than stock and has a nice, raspy but mellow tone. Sounds beautiful. W/the stock mufflers it sounded like sh*t on wheels. I can't believe that what you have now is quieter than stock, unless you replaced the stock h-canister w/another muffler or something. The dynomax ultra-flows are essentially a straight-pipe too, so they flow about as good as a muffler can.

I've got a magnaflow x pipe but that shouldn't make it that more quiet.

I have the stainless works 1-7/8 headers that bolt up to the factory connection pipe, and the dynomax axle back kit. I didn't mean that it's quieter than the stock exhaust I meant to say it's quieter than the stock manifolds and converters with a muffler delete.
