VENDORS PLEASE>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Is it just me or are ya'll having the same issues with some of these vendors on this site. Not all but some are trying to sell things that they do not have. When I call the first question is " Is it in stock? Well of course it is until you want a tracking number!

Why not just be honest and upfront. I tried to buy a Borla axle back ATAK for the past 4 weeks only to have vendor after vendor tell me Yes Sir it is in stock and can ship today, then to find out that it isn't in stock and the backorder from BORLA is 4 weeks, this is from Borla.

Vendors please be up front with us , we are big boys and girls and can handle stuff being out of stock.

PS Luckily Tim at TANTPERFORMANCE took care of my exhaust problem and shipped me one today.

We have accurate stocking data for every part on our site. If something is not in stock it usually is best to call like you have to find out the wait time. We have direct contact with all our companies and can let you know exactly when to expect parts.

I agree with this. Just too many "wanna-be" shops out there that want to post a ton of products and, not have capital to buy and stock their products. Many want to play the drop-ship game. Any business can do this these days and spend $0 on on inventory. Of course I never buy from places like this (well maybe once if they fool me but, then they reap the no repeat business and online feedback when they don't have the product to ship that I paid for).

I'm trying to understand the complaint. It sounds like a little more than a simple problem.

Are you concerned that vendors are outright lying about their inventory or that they drop-ship orders? If someone is promising shipment the next day, that's something that should be done. Promises made should be promises kept. If you have concerns about drop-shipped orders, I'm not sure why that would be a problem. If you think about the costs of storing merchandise, I can guarantee you that not having to store excess merchandise will save them money and will allow them to sell you product for less money depending on the size of the company. A larger company might be able to afford bulk orders and warehouse charges that can save you money. A smaller company might be able to afford to drop-ship merchandise and avoid paying any carrying charges on the product. I'm not sure that's a problem, so I'm not seeing where to complaint lies.

I don't want to defend a bad vendor or even promote a good vendor unless I've personally had a good experience. That being said, there's nothing to be done about drop-shippers as long as they send you the right product at a price you agreed to pay.

At Apex Motorsports we don't play games like other shops and strive to exceed our customers expectations. Here is what a few of them have had to say:

I try to use the folks that are paying sponsors on this site and have been well pleased with that strategy and I make sure I BOLD them in my signature.

Custom parts are not always in stock, it's not a store your dealing with at all times, most website companies don't stock but drop ship to customers from their suppliers!
I understand your frustration in ordering you want it now, but realistically that's why a lot of smaller companies go out of business because they try to stock everything, and it hits the pocket book so hard they don't have the capitol to pay the rent and bills because it's all in inventory.
I know a few companies that had to close down because of this, so your doing the little guy a favor by purchasing from them and waiting for it to be shipped.
Most orders can be shipped in 5-7 working days, that's better than Amazon in most cases or other websites you purchase from!
