knocking noise at a slow roll - L99

i have right at 16k miles on my 2SS L99 and i just noticed today that whenever i'm rolling at a low speed (5-10mph) i hear a feint knocking noise. once i stop, the noise stops. this happens in any gear and it seems louder in reverse.

it sounds like it's coming from underneath the console on the drivers side, but kind of hard to tell for sure.

i'm taking it to the dealer as soon as i can, but was just wondering if anyone else has had this problem.

No knock problems here. Also have the L99. Good luck.

I had the same thing with my Auto 6, but of course when I take it to the dealer it wouldn't make the noise.
Anyway after I went to Long Tube Headers and high flow cats it went away, I have heard the same from others as well that when they changed out to an aftermarket exhaust it went away.
Please let us know what the dealer says or finds out for you.

yeah, i was going to bring it to the dealer before i went into work today and it wouldn't make the noise the whole way... lol

thanks for the replies, it probably is just the exhaust rattling around. all the more reason to go ahead and get long tube headers

if it happens again and i figure out what it is for sure i'll let you guys know.

You might have your drive line looked at.

Mine had the exhaust (resonator) hitting the cross brace. Sounds like it is coming from farther forward than it actually was.
