V6 throttle response

Ive found that the v6 Camaros really lag when you push the petal to the max.
Does The k&n V6 CAI help throttle response ? What other Parts do you suggest to get better throttle response

I would have suggested getting a manual shift, but too late i guess.

at least you get 1mpg better mileage.

on a serious note, you could get a tune from Trifecta. I've heard that it is pretty good for the automatic.

So you suggest a Tune instead Of CAI? Why?

Tune will help the most, then CAI, ported throttle body I think does, don't flame me if I'm wrong there please!

Is the T/C off, as well as the StabiliTrak?

When I press that button and hold it for seven seconds, seeing both lights in the tach illuminate, I have NO PROBLEM getting the throttle to react IMMEDIATELY in my 2LT.

Manual or Sport shift mode helps, too.

If you want to pick up speed fast, use Manual, or tapshift if you are auto. =p I find shifting the gear points yourself is much fast. I drive an Automatic.

Injen "True" CAI and the axel/cat-back exhaust of your choice. I suggest MRT1 or Flowmaster AMT.

I have the Flowmaster AT axle back and the Airaid CAI V2 and man, I mean when I hit it, it pushes your head back into the head rest. Big difference compared to not having the mods and even bigger difference since I have the V2 tube by Airaid. HUGE DIFFERENCE!

Mine's an A6 also and I have:
airaid v2
Custom Magnaflow exhaust
91 octane gas
The car has much improved response. I would say the airaid was noticeble, the 91 octane was about the same increase, and that is refering to right off the line response and the exhaust was last. Also 5000+ miles breakin will help it also as the engine loosens up.
Next up are D/T shorty headers and IAT relocation mod. The headers I hear real help and the IAT mod will keep the timing up do to better/cooler air temp readings. All these can get another 35 or so rear wheel hp according to all I have seen here/dyno results.
You can try some of these and should help you alot with your response.Have fun !!!
