Beige Interior question/feedback needed

In just about every picture I've seen of the beige interior, the trim strip across the dash seems like a different color than the material on the door panels/seats. Is it just the light/camera/shadows messing with me?

Anybody got a 2011 with beige?

Any feedback from beige 2010 owners-is it easy to clean?

Thanks, guys-I've been lurking here for over a year. Your search function rocks!

the dash and door panels on the 2lt/2ss are a champagne color. not the beige/neutral the seats inserts are.

general crime and such come off without much drama just like all light colored leather. but I think my jeans just dyed a blue streak across my driver's seat. it isn't coming off with lexol cleaner. I've ordered some Autoglym Interior Cleaner, but I think I'm going to have to re-dye or replace.

I had a '96 and a '98 Z28 with neutral colored leather. never had a problem with either and I always wera Jeans.

I'm a huge fan of the beige and no problems for now. I've only had my car for a month or two tho.

I'm a newbie owner and too have the 2010 SS with the beige seat inserts. Just noticed a small mysterious blue mark about 1/16 inch wide and 4 inches long (probably from blue jeans, though I haven't worn any new jeans and nothing else blue has been in the car in the past few days of
new ownership) along the mid to bottom portion of the drivers seat material.

I don't remember noticing it while the car was on the dealers lot either or before I left with it. Though the salesman did take it around the lot for a fuel up shortly before I drove away................... In my moments of jubulation I could have simply over looked the area as well......

In either case ........would you please keep us other beige interior owners up to date on how/what you use to safely remove the blue stuff..............I'll assume that everyones salesmen is taking a last minute jaunt around the block in our beauties while garbed in new unwashed jeans..........lol

Seat covers of some sorts are on the drawing boards.............already!

Thank You in Advance! Dave

So, the color on the door panels matches with the dash trim piece? This is what I'm concerned about. The seats being a different shade is no biggie.

Thank you!

Ya, I'll update when I find a solution.

FWIW, None of my Jeans are that new. been hot here lately. I'm guessing the dye ran when I sweated.

Yep, the plastic door inserts are the same color as the plastic strip across the dash .

Did not like the beige at all when I looked at some.
The shade of beige used is way too lite in my opinion.

And the entire interior should be beige...not just the seat covers and door panels.

I have a 2011 2LT R/S with Red Jewel Tintcoat. I could have choosen grey interior, but decided that since most of the interior is already grey color, I choose Beige figuring that everything will match up quite nicely. My sales manager/dealership owner had his doubts it would look good at all. It turned out after the car was finally delivered & he sat in it, he admitted he was wrong and the color combinations I choose were perfect. The only parts that are beige is the seat & door inserts, I didnt notice the passenger side dash trim being beige, I think it's the same color no matter what. I'm very happy with my color choices, I think you will be too. All grey would have been boring to look at, and black would have been too hot to sit on. Beige tends to remain a little cooler as it doesn't attract heat quite as well.

So, your car doesn't have the passenger side dash trim in beige/champagne, or you just didn't notice it?

I heart my beige. I can't speak for the 2011, but my door panels match the dash trim piece. See pics #1 & #2.

But after reading this thread, I went outside and looked at my drivers seat... I hadn't really noticed anything before and I haven't cleaned them yet. Well this is what I saw Just a bit dirty/stained from getting in and out of the car. See pics #3.

So I cleaned it with my leather wipes I bought when I first got my car, worked pretty well. I wiped it down, then went back over it with a microfiber cloth so it didn't streak. See pic #4. Sorry about the big pics, but I hope this helps.

You're welcome I like to help people out when it comes to the interior, because I've learned there's not much of the beige around. Search some of my other posts, I have other pics around of the interior.

Let me know if you need more info.

Much appreciated. I'm giving serious consideration to a 2011 2LT, and want to make sure the dash trim is part of the beige interior deal.

I searched through a bunch of threads and pics, but couldn't find the info I wanted, until you showed up.
