It seems that the ZR1 driver was being a little lazy coming off the line considering it was far from the front until past 60. I thought that thing ran about the same 0-60 as the Godzilla?... Of well, they all got owned at the end, LOL!!!

Not sure if it was being lazy off the line, or like its little brother Z06...just really hard to launch..without melting the tires.

This is proof that GM is a market champion. Not only can Chevrolet produce the cars that everyone drives, but it can produce the cars everyone wishes they could drive. This is a testament to American engineering.

The traction control was also off.

Its too soon to release the V-Spec. Perhaps we will see it next year. It would have to be significantly lighter with at least another 150 HP to make a difference though.

True. If Nissan releases another near two ton car it still won't be a contest in a straight line.

Just like V6's are always more efficient than big V8s

Whers's my beloved Lambo!?!? It woulda destroyed the plastic ZR1. Supprised the 599 didn't get off the line that fast. Its supposed to have super-sophisticated F1 Launch Control.. Still, Gotta give the ZR1 credit for beating a car 3 times its price.
