Dyno Results

Heres a vid, and my dyno sheet from todays dyno pulls at GTR High Performance.

This is with the Injen CAI, Magnaflow X-pipe, and custom Magnaflow axle back exhaust. Pulls were done in 3rd gear, since mine is an A6.

Nice results. I'll be out in CA for the BBK meet on Sep 11. I'm very curious to see what my car is going to dyno at.

Yeah, your setup and mine are almost identical so far. Will be interesting. I'm hoping for a tune by then though...

That would be awesome if you do get a tune, then we can compare the difference it makes.

^ Oh yeah! Not sure what the difference is between the 2 gear ratios. I think the manuals dyno higher than the auto, but I'm not sure. I'll be running my 22's as well, which will give me lower numbers.

dyno runs should have been done in 4th gear,, 3rd gear is 1.53:1 and 4th gear is 1.15:1

you should dyno in whatever gear is 1.0:1, or the closest gear,,

4th gear in the A6 usually also gives higher dyno numbers than 3rd gear

If you have the ls, you can't dyno in 4th. Just FYI.

Unless u get a tune to raise or remove the limiter of course.

This is the exact reason why they could not run mine in 4th. automatics, non rs with the 118 limiter should be done in 3rd gear.

~260 seems pretty stout for an A6 done in 3rd.

Nice results.
