I have driven my car up on Race Ramps several times. It is not a problem if you take your time. Just don't charge up them and launch you car over the end.

I use "RhinoRamps 12000" on my L99. They cost $50 from Advance Auto or other places. I am not sure why the LS3 would be any different.

Because the LS3 is a little more tricky to get started going up an incline ...

Yeah, its really not any harder to get a manual car up on ramps than an auto (unless you are new to driving a manual). In fact, I think its easier, because you don't have that 'lunge' that you can get from an auto as the torque convertor engages.

The Rhino ramps work great, but are a tad too narrow for my tastes.. I havent had any trouble with my L99 getting up on the ramps, and before that my mazda6 (manual) was also easy to do. Just have to be light on the accelerator and only give it enough to move a bit at a time.

Haven't had my 5th Gen on ramps yet but I have the Rhino 12,000 ramps too. Can't wait to get her on them and check out everything. 4th Gen works great on these ramps.

The 12,000 lb version is 11.50" wide and is designed for tires 9.5" wide.

Ive had no problem getting my manual SS up on ramps and I have the ground effects package. Just take it slow and be careful with the possibility that those ramps may slip forward if not properly grounded. I like to keep a chock behind the rear wheel as a precaution. I have also backed up the ramps when I did my exhaust and the only thing I had to worry about was the ground effects touching the ground on the front of the car. Either than that...I have had no problems with car ramps.

sorry, it seems that so few members avatars specify tranny that even though my eyes did dart over there to check I managed to miss that he had it there. Great catch!
