I have just received word from the OP that someone from GM Executive Office has reached out to speak to him. OP will be returning the call at his earliest convenience.

Hopefully there will be some good news. In the meantime, keep signing the petition. At this point we are not sure what the deal is....

In the event this gets settled without needing the attorney, all donations will be refunded. (gofundme.com takes a small percentage on donations, but we should be able get it back to you complete).

GM is pretty stupid to get the CAMARO5 people pissed off... I bet we'll be hearing a "sorry there was a miscommunication, warranty shouldn't have been denied" coming soon.

something the OP should bring up to GM is some of these catch cans have been installed BY THE DEALER!!!!

I know there was a girl here in NJ that had issues and GM made the dealer remove the catch can... which was installed by her dealer.

here it is:
http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=399271

how many of you had a catch can installed by the dealer???

I just received this from GM in response to an on-line chat I had with GM Customer Service on Saturday. I was not expecting to be notified of any details, however this does acknowledge that they are aware of the petition and who it pertains to. Hopefully some progress.

Keep signing! Thanks! https://www.change.org/p/alicia-bole...edium=copyLink

Dear Stacy:

I wanted to follow up with you in regards to our chat and they petition that you mentioned. Our GM people have forwarded the feedback and it has been documented.

I am unable to comment on the specific's of another customer's concern.

Thank you,
Laura

Thanks Bill,

It's really interesting to read the comments people have been making on change.org. It seems almost EVERYBODY knows what a catch can does. (everybody except GM Execs anyway )

Hopefully this will be an education to them and a possibility to start including them in the vehicle.

Elite, if I were you I would capitalize on this new-found information that GM has and submit your patented design for a factory catch-can.

JMHO as always...

Signed. I also pointed out (as many have) that the device is installed on other Camaro models from the factory.
