it's possible that perhaps the Airaid may need some fine adjustments with the blockoff plate to seal better, and as the notes said, larger opening to let in colder air... |

just wanted to thank the Jannetty crew for doing this test, been thinking injen for a while now this pretty much cements it. when I plop the cash down next january Injen is the one. Does Injen have a patent on the design? I would think there will be someone to copy it real soon based on this independent test. 312 HP soon to be 330ish!!

Stock VS CAI, K&N, AIRAID, INJEN
Here are the 4 graphs, Again, this is the BEST STOCK pull against the BEST aftermarket Pull.
RED is Torque and BLUE is Horsepower

I think for the way I drive I would like more average horses than the highest peak horses. My PREFERENCE ONLY, so please nobody beat up on me. Trust me for the right price I would take any one of these intakes.

for those of us that like more low end power, the Airaid still seems best, unless I am missing something. --the torque comes up more at lower RPMs, which will help off the line feel/performance. It's not always about which one makes the most HP or TQ, but WHERE in the RPM range it happens. I'm coming from a supercharged 3800, which has tons of lower end torque, so anything to get the Camaro into similar territory is best, in MY opinion
