Here's an LS-type question: What if one was to remove the driver's side plastic piece that plugs where them fancy folks in their RS's have the fog/driving lights and cut out the center part of the plastic? Then, cover the hole with some coarse screen material painted black and reinstall the plug-thing. At speed, would air entering there sort of pressurize the area used where a cold air intake would be breathing from?
I haven't really looked at what's behind there, but it looks like that might be the case. Of course if it was true, that might also increase the chance for water ingestion during hard rain (or creek fording (not recommended)). Has anyone done or done-tried this, or has it been looked at and called plain dumb? I started thinking about it when I (wrongly) envisioned plumbing both of those holes with ductwork to be able to direct air to the front brakes for cooling. Doesn't look like that's (cleanly) possible with all the shrouding in the wheel wells and is probably too hillbilly (apologies to hillbillies) anyway. John B.

SoloKnight6, that car is SICK! (Is that what the kids say when they like it? I'm old).
