OMG that is a terrible picture. I know I have seen some people fill the mail slot if they add a hood scoop so they don't have two scoops. I kind of have mixed reviews on that. I like how the mail slot means its an SS but I don't like the two scoops.

anyway, the ram air mailslot is just as functional as the cowl induction hood. That is to say, both are equally useless when it comes to getting high pressure air into the intake. But they look neat, and the concept car had them. Opening them up would yield the functionality of the floor mounted 4 pack gauges: mainly for looks, some function in certain circumstances

Yes it is. I used some 2 part epoxy for plastic to attach.
