I saw this today being applied to new over the road trucks on the front bumpers. I ask the guy why and he said it was cheaper than the bugs and rocks pitting up the front of his truck. Has anyone done this before a trip and does it work?

oh 9/10

Dude. Don't. The paint on our cars is too delicate for the car wash

For any who have problems getting it of your rims. Just use a pressure washer works great and just a couple of min a rim.

I think the product deserves a 10/10.

However, we could start a thread on "Plasti-dip Gone Wrong" alone.

Just saying.

I should also say if you ever have problems with removal of plasti dip on your rims wd40 is amazing. It literally cancels out the adhesiveness of plasti dip. Not sure how well it works for on the paint applications

Stuff is made for tool handles and then it works if you keep renewing it. But I prefer callouses and worn handles.

8/10. I'd probably give it a ten if it was more durable and available in more colors.
