Sounds excellent.

With a vert, I would be concerned about drone if driving with the top up. Thoughts from those who did the muffler delete?

Are folks certain this is illegal? California, probably. Not sure about Texas.

Wrong. It's not illegal. As long as you leave the factor resinators on, It is still quieter then most CAT back exhausts and you are allowed to do anything you want after the CATS as long as it isn't above specific dB levels, even in super strick California, its legal.

I think it all depends on who is inspecting it and what their definition of a "muffler" is, considering the law says it must have some sort of "muffling device." Yes, technically a resonator is a "muffling device," but not everyone might consider it one and want to see an actual muffler right behind the tips.

Considering it only cost $50 to make my car sound like it had a V8, I give it a 10/10

I'm curious as to whether the people that hate it spent money on a cat-back system.

Did a little research. In Texas a "muffler" is required.

§ 547.604. MUFFLER REQUIRED. (a) A motor vehicle shall
be equipped with a muffler in good working condition that
continually operates to prevent excessive or unusual noise.
(b) A person may not use a muffler cutout, bypass, or
similar device on a motor vehicle.

As has been pointed out, one could argue that the resonators are mufflers.

I have not seen a vehicle inspection station check for mufflers. But in the big cities with smog restrictions, they might well do so.

Subjective...

LS1 Tech is another forum. He's saying that the V6 with the delete sounds like crap, not the LS1.
