Hey guys I'm putting in my order for the 2014 hood vent, fan shroud, and drip tray. Lethal racing is going to be doing my install, along with an apr splitter. I got the part number on the shroud, for the hood vent I want the 1le vent because I think it's a different color black. The one on the accessories page says it's factory matched black. Does anyone have the part number on the 1le hood vent? I believe the correct one is 22828242 I just want to be sure, also it maybe in the thread I may have over looked it but what is the drip tray part number?

I used Extractor 22828242, Water Tray 23180572 and Shroud 22828415.

I got all my parts the other day! I think the fan shroud piece I'll have to take off my catch can and disconnect my intake tube. That shouldn't be too much of a problem. My parts didn't ship with bolts or nuts or anything(except for the built in pieces). What so I need to buy to mount everything? Or do I wen need to lethal racing is doing the install and charging me a "shop fee" of 55 dollars for misc item, fluids, etc. which is fine if they can make the beakers and stuff for the tray and get everything mounted well.

I was able to get my fan shroud in without removing anything. I put the driver's side down in first then the passenger side. The three snaps hold it in place with no problem.

Replace the bolts it came with, with two inch brass toilet bolts. You can pick them up at Home Depot. But before removing the orig bolts press the extractor into the rain tray. the bolts will make marks in the tray so you'll know where to drill the holes. If you can't see the marks put some painter's tape inside the tray then press down. Drill where the marks are.

I'm not the one ho's going to be installing it . Lethal racing will be. Guess I'll have to give them a call to see how they are going to be installing it and if I need to provide anythin else. So aside from the beakers I just need two brass bolts?

the bolts that come on it are not long enough to go through the rain tray. This is how most people are installing it as the non 2014+ SS hood doesn't have the holes for the push pins that normally hold it in place. The bolts fit in a slot on the scoop and people have replaced them with brass toilet flange bolts.

Cool thanks for the Info man. So if the bolts hold the rain tray to the scoop would I need those brackets that some people are picking up? Sorry for the questions I just wanna get as much info as possible you've been a great help so far Tech. It looks like the bolts that come on the scoop slide out I've tried to get them out but they don't come out easily. Is there a special way to do it?

Sorry, been out of the country...

Just push, they'll come out. The toilet bolts are not as tight, so I ran a nut and washer down to hold them in place.

I didn't use the brackets, just secured it to the rain tray.. Looks a lot cleaner and it's still really secure.

When I installed my TL-1 extractor it came with a tube of polyurethane windshield adheasive to put a bead around the edge and glue it to the hood. If you never plan on removing the extractor I suggest doing that before bolting it down. You won't have to worry about losing it.

Sounds good, yeah I can't imagine ever removing the extractor. Maybe the deflector occasionally but not the extractor.

Thanks Guys I'm going to try and get it done New Year's Day. I think me and my dad are gunna try our hand at installing it. Can't be that hard!
