I think 2-inch primaries are going to be too big unless you have a big shot, heads, cam, or TC/SC. The 3-inch duals seem to work okay on GTOs and 'Vettes, so I don't know that they'd be a problem for us, except for maybe some drone. Otherwise, that car sounded friggin' sweet, IMVHO.

1 7/8 vs. 2"

Why would a 1/8" make a big difference? It would allow more flow, so shouldn't it be better?

the GS race car concept from SEMA had 3" exhaust behind its LS3, so i'd say it'll be fine

you don't want to open it too big or you'll start getting that hollow sound (like the mustang) & start getting too little back pressure

On a otherwise stock engine, no. With head/cam or FI or spray, that would work. In theory, you will loose low end Tq with bigger primaries.

Agree with garagelogic - Stainless Works makes quality stuff.

I have spoken with Jim at SW and you can also order CA10CB-2 which has straight through mufflers with no appreciable back pressure for high horsepower applications. A little louder, a little more power.

P.S. Thanks for posting the SW stuff Milk ! You da man.

Stainless Works is about 15 miles from where I live and have visited them a few times. They do nothing but quality work and when my Camaro is built it will definitely go there for headers and exhaust.
