I am just paralyzed by considering a T1 or ZL1 front fascia.....and then Hood vs Hood Vents..... sooo I am waiting til I can pull the trigger on some stuff.... I am also kinda partial to the Stock front bumper with an APR on it..... decisions.

AKA..you have some time to still get the APR so you can say you had it before me.......

The car looks awesome in this shot.... I also like that ABS belly pan you made, nice and Hammdo quality as we all demand! Very cool
I honestly considered the T1, what stopped me was the ZL1 had proven itself in testing and the CFD that was done. Also, the fact I could get parts from the dealership, where my son in law happens to work ;o).

It is a tough decision, but I’d still do the ZL1.

I love that pic, got a great shot of how the aero was working.

That rear belly pan is doing what I expected it to do. I’ll really know when I get another high speed shot. I think I’ll put on some stall string markers (stall strips) and have a spotter film it from the rear, just to see what is going on ;o)

Be a rebel and get the APR ;o)

I like this one too -- limited body roll -- can really see the flowtie:

Contact is good in the turn, no wheel-tire lift to speak of -- you can also see the tire kinda 'roll' under the wheel a-bit (sidewall) -- grippy on this 105° day! Don't want roll-over so gotta monitor that...

These look like they are automotive heat shrink terminals. Try some heat and see if they shrink.

Alright! Took it out this morning -- 60's -- just fantastic today (tomorrow 16° yuck). Looks like the ground solved my issue -- no P0178, pending or otherwise -- just goes to show you need 'good' grounds for these engines.

Ran excellent, car feels planted and drives very smooth -- no Aerodynamic buffeting at any speed. Once I get the new front splitter, we'll test again.

Gonna give the ground ends some heat to see if they will 'shrink' like JusticPete suggested -- from the looks of it, they will.

What I'll do is open up the CAI, move the factory harness outside and plug in the breakout harness into the factory harness, then route it back inside the CAI. Then, just plug in the IAT2. Very simple -- once that is done, I'll get my corrections in. The Analog IAT sensor will be put into the CAI (I'll drill a small hole and use the 'threaded' sensor with a nut and loctite). Then, run the Analog wire to the Interceptor and set the IAT2 to read from the Analog (Yes, I know its IAT1, but I don't believe I can change that in the interceptor, as IAT1 for my ECM will be IAT1 selectable from the OBDII port, even though its an IAT2 sensor ;o).

Hey don, So i got an dinstalled my iat breakout harness into the zl1 lid iat2 sensor. If i am understanding and reading right, When i am scanning for iat2 on my torque app should i now be looking at IAT 1 or IAT 2 on my torque app to see the correct reading?

Iat1. The E38 does not have IAT2, only the E67 has both. The scaling of the sensor needs to be updated via the tune (for the LSA conversion) — like I show in the posts...

Thanks! The car keeps saying ‘fatman lose some weight’ ;o) At least I’m trying to make the car do things!

I’m betting GPI would like that one too.

Made it my avatar ;o)

My ZL1 Addons front splitter came in today but, gonna have to wait....

Dr said I have type A Flu, even though I don’t have all the symptoms. Seems my body has fought it off pretty well — without the flu shot this year.

Oh well, I’ll get it on next weekend... shame as today we’re in the 70s!

Pic coming soon...
