Why don't you guys stop asking the MOD's for the picture. If they feel its necessary they will show it. If not then obviously they won't. Stop bugging them.

I am a bit surprised at the number of posts on this thread. Not quite what we had when pricing was announced, but impressive. Us true Camaro enthusiasts are passionate about this car and don't want to see bad publicity. Please give Scott and the GM legal team time to take care of this their way.

Why leave the thread open if they don't want bad publicity is the point. The OP asked people to keep an eye out for the billboard and listed the location.

I hope you aren't insinuating that people who have asked to see a PRIVATE viewing of the pic aren't true Camaro enthusiasts. That's a whole lot a baloney. Some people seem to be a little too self righteous.

Edit: I'll try to politely explain that this thread should of been closed and trash canned if Containment is now the goal. Leaving this thread open and not in the trash can is just bad judgement.

It's all about containment. What good would it do to give that image to Scott/GM if we are willing to just beam it out to all the Internet?

GM wants to the image so they can use it to remove the inappropriate and probably illegal use of the Camaro on a bill board. Again, how responsible would we be if we sent it out to everyone while GM is working to get it removed. Kinda defeats the purpose of getting the image to Scott in the first place doesn't it.

This is called damage control, sorry if you don't understand. Yes, it will make it's way to the net. I am not going to be the one to expidite that happening. Feel free to drive to Texas or Louisiana to find it. It's a Texas law firm and the image is NOT on their website so it doesn't matter who it is. I'm also not going to post the name of the law firm. They will be dealt with if they actually broke any law. We don't know that right now. Be a sport and leave it to the experts.

Say what you want, it will not change my decision or how I have handled my part in this. Thank you for your support. Especially all of you who have my back on this.

We are all free to speak whatever we want. If the moderators feel like the thread is getting out of control they will close it. But as long as we are all talking in civilzed manner that won't happen. Now the picture will only be given out if fbodfather or the mods feel like they want to. But in my opinion we don't want that kind of publicity for our Camaro.
The op was trying to get people to take a picture of it so that somone could take a picture of it and let GM know about it (for legal reasons). That's not being selfish it's being responsible.
I'm sorry for the rant but if you really want to see the billboard so bad I would suggest driving out to where it is and seeing it for yourself.

So, in an effor to keep this thread productive. Should GM be able to protect it's licensed products, or should the public be able to use them as they see fit?
