That's exactly what I was thinking. Also I think it would only cut into sales depending on the power plant they installed on it.

I'm a die hard Chevelle fan, but I don't see anything in that concept related to a Chevelle. It's a nice looking car, but I don't think the Chevelle name plate should be put on it. A Chevelle is supposed to be a mid sized car too. I'd love to see a new Chevelle with the combo of new and old like the new Camaro has....that would be a huge success.

its cool looking car.........but..
i hope gm dosent just go out and make a bunch of new models that
share the look of the camaro just becuse IT looks good.that the camaro looks good DOSENT mean all new models should look like one.
that has been done. we went from being the most important to being an also ran..

It does have some essence of the Chevy Volt concept. I think this could be a nice niche for Chevy. Why not call it a Chevelle. It is a car that died and has been errected like the six million dollar man. Made better. It would be a great platform for (if you'll excuse the Ford version) eco-boost technology 4 cylinder turbo and non-turbo engines. Something in between the new cruz and a Camaro. However I can see the point to the comment that you don't want to be model heavy. It could replace the discontinued Monty Carlo and be a nice size for NASCAR. All in all a nice car.

I think it would be fantastic. And SS with a new engine that would stand it apart from anything else would be what it needs. As for a 4 door version! NOT! NOT!

I like it, but the first thing that pops in my head when I see it isn't Chevelle, it's "Starsky and Hutch".

LOL
