The Charger still sells very well, probably one of their best selling vehicles after the Ram.

I like the concept car, but much like the GTO when introduced failed in the styling department for me (didn't do anything to bring back the classic look of a GTO). For it to carry the Chevelle name it will have to do better and carry over the more traditional style as the Camaro has. Just my oppion, but when I think Chevelle it conjures something more then the concept that is pictured.

Fleet cars and law enforcement vehicles alone could probably carry the Charger line. I'm not a fan of bringing back legendary two door coupes and making them family sedans, however. Say whatever about the last GTO, but it was clearly not designed as a grocery getter or transportation to and from soccer practice.

Just something to ponder...I often wonder what the next Gen Camaro will look like, so instead of being a Chevelle, how about the 6th Gen Camaro?

Perhaps this is more like the age old question of which came first the chicken (aka - the photoshop rendering of two concept vehicles by some random person) or the egg (aka - an actual concept image purposively “leaked” by GM to secretly watch people’s reaction)? |

I think the day and age has come where 4 doors isn't a bad thing. The Camaro takes the coupe spot. Build the next Chevelle as the G8 was...and ditch the FWD Impala and don't call it a Malibu that's a camry type vehicle. GM has hole in their product lineup, no affordable 4 door performance sedan. Some of us need the passenger space and the 2 seater Camaro doesn't cut it (lets face it the back seats in the camaro are worthless--worse then 4th gen and way worse than the 04+ GTO).

Most of that is actually the concept version of the volt, before they f***** it up. Nice car, they should replace the impala with this.
