I will definably remove the bowtie on the SS and replace it with shiny SS badges

How about a new poll to see if we can get GM to color match the center of the badge to the color of the body??
NOOOOO?? Sorry, I've been looking at too many polls today...nevermindI'm fine with the little emblem thingy you can barely see. 2SS/RS Black/Black w-Cyber Gray stripes/Auto ordered-10/18/08

How hard do you think it would be to put a SS badge where the chevy badge is on the grille? Not that i dont like chevy. just think it looks better, and everyone who knows anything (or cares), will know that your camaro is certainly a chevy.

Not hard at all if the SS emblem you get has studs that match the ones on the Bowtie. There will be two little studs and 10mm nuts holding it on from the back (most likely). Trust me, the aftermarket will come out with a badge to fit.

Proud GM owner -- mine will stay.
Bowtie will be replaced with a silver SS -- as it should be IMO. |

debadging
I plan on taking off the GM badge, along with the bowtie, and the front/rear SS badges and, and I will replace them with SS badges from a trailblazer SS, and also add smaller trailblazer SS emblems under the Camaro logo on the front fenders. My grille SS and rear SS emblems will be centered on the car as they should have been from the factory. Why did the Camaro get the worst SS badge treatment of any of the SS cars???

Per the photo's at Indy of the black SS (missing the bowtie) it shows that the Bowtie is a large piece that removes a section of the grille, both vertically and horizontially. So someone would have to create a formed SS that would mimick the the originial bowtie. I'll buy one but it's going to be expensive. Will have to come in at least two colors also, White for the SS and Red for the SS/RS.

yes i own a 07 montess and that silly badge did nothing but irritate me everytime i looked at it i took off mine with a little presuatiton it came off. i stress to be careful as to wanting to tip it it will mark the paint if the corner touches . I just ordered the new camaro and wanted to request they leave that badge off but i didnt think they would think much of that it wil be removed immeditaly upon getting car.

I will be taking the GM squares off of mine, removing the red SS badge on the grille, replacing the gold Chevy bowtie on the grille with a silver SS badge, and putting a small and tastefull "Hurst Equipped" badge on the decklid (which it will be
)

gm decal
take a plastic putty knife and carefully put behind emblam with a side to side motion to remove than their will be a black or grey glue left behind using your thumb rumb the glue off . it is best to do it as soon as you get your car as the longer you leave on the hard it will take the glue off or just ask the dealership to take off emblam they won't mind should be no charge as the amount of money you just spent ask sales person
