Thanks for the input everyone...it's certainly helping to calm my worries. Once the replacement for RJT is available, I'm ordering. I really wanted a lighter blue than the IBM, but the RJT looks classy, especially with the top up so I'm going with the new red once I can get it.

Go for it! I have had many of the issues on here, including the top issues, window regulators, a squeak somewhere in the top when it is folded etc. However, I love her to death, and is quite possibly the best car I have owned. I have a 2LT/RS vert with the 6A and have never regretted it for a second. I get about 23mpg using it as a daily commuter. Compliments and stares everywhere you go, and the verts, (at least where I live) are still relatively rare. Every time I park her and get out I feel like I'm 16 again. It truely is an amazing machine even with its issues.:thumbed:

Absolutely love the vert.I have had my vert since about July.I too have some very minor rub marks and some wind noise from back window only at highway speeds (60MPH +).ABSOLUTELY LOVE THE CAR.I would buy another one in a heartbeat.
IF my roof gets really bad, I will have it replaced under warranty but not until then. There is nothing like driving with the top down. For me, much more enjoyable than the coupe unless you want to take your car on to the dragstrips/racetracks then the coupe is the way to go.For general cruising...the vert is the only way to go!!!! I will be crying soon, since I will be storing her for the winter and storage day is fast approaching. |
