I'm still getting it even if it is slower than a GT500.
Mustangs are ugly. |

Personally I like the Aveo RS. Headlights look good. I mean look at the Ford Focus, Subaru Impreza etc. I would def love to see that Aveo have a turbo or s/c in it. & have different versions of it. Like mentioned some people need to be realistic & not everything is about performance. Some of you guys are saying your not going to buy the Z28 strictly if it doesn't out perform the GT500?
Is it just about performance? Shit if the car looks good, price, comfortable & has at least some power I'm interested. Always mods?? Its not like our Camaros are the fastest thing on the streets stock.... I think the way GM is heading is its to bad that Cobalt got the boot. I would of been interested in them if they were rwd. Low 14 sec 1/4 mile car that gets good mpg. Just needed a little more hp compared to a STI or SRT-4. Just my 2 cents haha

![]() Wow.. reading some of these comments and just shaking my head. As a loyal ford person, trying not to be bias, I feel the z28 will have a market and no problem selling for over 50k a piece. Performance is all up in the air, because unless I've missed it, nobody has released the actual hp/tq numbers or the weight of the new z28. As a current GT500, it's finally great to see my car is a benchmark in performance. That means, ford actually did something right. It took a good while, but I'm proud to own one. I remember not too far past, the SS was the bench mark, and ford had to step up with the 5.0. Now it's Chevy's turn to step up, and I'm sure they will. I'm super excited as it will bring nothing but faster, better cars for all. Like someone has mention, just becuase a car's performance maybe under par, people don't just buy the car for performance. There is brand loyalty, love of the car it's self, looks and personal taste of style. I personally would be proud to have either a SS or z28 in my garage. ROCK ON FORD VS CHEVY!!! Dodge can come play too!!! My real question..how are vette owners feeling now??

This right here is exactly what I was thinking. The same thing happened with the SS, the 2010 SS outperformed the 2010 GT, but then Ford stepped it up in 2011.

LOL, Yeah, add power - since we can't get rid of too much weight as it is.
He should have used the clutch too!!!!!

In the modders world, the GT500 will outperform the Z28. GM needs a performance division like Ford Racing. |
