SS9 w/ window

These count as one hood, as the inserts are intercheangable;

Available from ACS, SS9 Window Hood, Louvered Hood, Carbon Insert, or Sleeper Version

Ok, maybe it's just me, but with all the great artistry going on with the scooped hoods from different companies, why does it seem so difficult to get closer to the movie-car T2 hood scoop? It doesn't seem like it'd be THAT much more difficult to bring the front of the scoop up a little more toward the front, or am I missing something here? If someone could make a hood that was a spittin' image for what's shown in this pic, I'd be all over it. But until then...nah, not so much. Personally, I think this would be a PERFECT compliment to the ACS T2 front bumpers coming out soon. Not to put ACS on the spot here, but I see a great opportunity for a package deal...no?

You would have have to check/research Inventor rights, as well as any potential Patent infringements.

You can't just copy someone else product. There are laws which govern what you can or cannot do with something you did not invent. There is also a time limit for the inventor to protect their rights too.

It costs a lot of time and $$$$$ in order to make a prototype and set up the molds, including many other associated costs.

Here are some pics of the functional Nickey Ram Air Stinger I, by ACS with and without hood stripes (patent pending).

Question about the front end on this car. What does this do to the fog lights/DRL's? Do you have to install aftermarket fogs? Does this front end come with that lip?

I have been looking for a nice hood with a functional scoop...this is a GREAT thread! Do any of these companies that fabricate these hoods offer for the hood to be painted before shipping to the customer?

Yes, the front end comes with the splitter / lip. Fog lights become your DRL, or harness can be rewired so the Halos become the DRL's.

We do have a few lighting options.

We don't offer paint, you can contact Gary's Customs, he is one of our distributors and offers painted parts.
