I am concerned as to what the color actually looks like. Is it just different lighting?

The color in Sherry's picture is pretty true to the color. Remember that many autoshows - esp. the big ones - have high powered lighting - and that can 'tint' the color somewhat.

Looks great...congrats. Other than the exterior HW logos, it's awesome

Love the color...almost as much as AGM...but I'm biased

Congratulations

One of the best special editions. Congratulations, enjoy. Here attached is a photo of a toy of this special edition, except it is green! Still looking for the actual toy of blue like the special edition. I can't say I have one too unless I can ride in it - too small - that's why there are big boy toys!

"From day one of becoming a Camaro Disciple / Camaro Advisory Board Member, I, like many of you, dreamed of having a bright blue 5th Gen. Don’t get me wrong, the ABM was a great color, but it wasn’t the “killer blue” my husband Chris and I had envisioned. Our thoughts were more of a bright medium blue metallic – something along the lines of our ’95 Medium Quasar Blue Metallic Z28 or some of the other great blues throughout the history of the Camaro. Every time we had a meeting or interacted with the Camaro Team, I let them know many of us wanted that shade of blue – so much so that I probably became the biggest thorn in their sides! "

I get this thinking totally. I drove to the dealer in 2009 to buy a ABM SS. But the color did wierd things in different lighting. I just want a nice, popping blue that is not to dark, and doesn't turn green, purple, fuchsia, or something other than BLUE! I loved the IBM, but I drive my car every day, and a dark color just wont work for me. I don't want to wash it 3 times a week.

That said, I have to balance performance, price and looks in my decision to buy. The KB color is bonkers fantastic. But no performance additions, and a fairly high added price do not persuade me to buy.I have driven a 1LE, and really hoping GM rolls this color or something real similar over to the other lines.

The HW Camaro is really sharp looking. The stunning shade of blue is spot on, especialy with that killer dose of metal flake. The red, silver and black accents of the car are perfectly balanced, and work very well together to accentuate that particular color. The aggressive looking grille and front splitter get extra bonus points! That ghosted flame on the quarter panel is way too cool...awesome! Congratulations to the OP/owner and Chevy,...it's one fine looking ride no doubt!
