Thanks! It's from a 60's Camaro. You can get them on eBay!

They're $144.87 at GM Parts Direct http://www.gmpartsdirect.com/results...umber=92214928 although they hit you pretty hard on the shipping charges.

My yellow install had similar problems-- the GM chicklet was in the way, I removed them to see if I missed them, so far I am not going to put them back on, I also had problems with the pushpin....I fortunately had some other GM type plastic pins that went in better and worked...I like the looks of the wheel guards....but to each their own opinion, you know what they say about opinions...

I've seen a few pictures, but I think they look a little like SUV splash guards! not sure I like them.

When you guys install these what are you drilling into? Specifically what material, plastic or metal? It looks like in the rear you are going into the plastic bumper/fascia? What about the front?

Plastic, very easy to do. On the bottom in the rear, and on the inside of the wheel well in the front. If you had to remove them for what ever reason, you would not notice it.

The front hole is drilled into the bottom of the plastic rocker panel. The rear hole is drilled into the bottom of the plastic bumper fascia. And both the front and rear ones are held on by two screws that are already in the car holding on the wheel well liner and by a strip of double sided tape that is already on the splash guards. And the front one is also held on with a plastic pushpin that goes into another hold you drill into the black plastic wheelwell liner. (it sounds a LOT more complex than it is; you just screw them both on, drill a few holes, a couple more screws and a pin and whip the tape on and you're done).

PS I am a little worried that they guy above me forgot the rocker panel hole on the front ones.

That's good to hear. I was worried you had to drill into metal. I'm in Canada and I will be driving in the winter. The thought of having that nice little hole in the metal rusting away....ugh. Plastic doesn't rust so it won't be an issue. Thanks

Does anyone know if it is easy to install your own splash guards? I want to buy some.
Looks like screws are on the car for it already.

Thanks.

It was pretty easy, had to drill one small hole in the bottom in the rear, and one hole on the inside front. I took the rear tires off to mount the rear splash guards, my star drive wouldn't fit. The front I just turned the tires all the way one way, then the other to get to the inside. including taking the rear tires off 30 mins.
