I suppose you want the drivetrain team to work on the HUD install as well? It's dissapointing that the HUD is delayed but I don't see these issues as being related and you're making a lot of assumptions as to what is causing the delay. I agree the HUD is way cooler and more important than a body kit for a car that doesn't need one, but there's no point in getting upset over it or blaming the teams working on other parts of the car. There might even be some good reasons behind the delay beyond GM's control, which we may or may not ever find out about.

I, personally, have no use for the HUD. I'm extremely happy there is a GFX kit available upon release. They took WAY too long to get one on the 4th Gens...

But I can understand how you feel. Had HUD been available but not a nice set of GFX I'd be in your position.

At least they aren't going to give us something that hasn't met all their tests and certifications. We'd all be pretty pizzed if we had the stuff and it didn't work. I'm sure they're working as hard and fast as possible to get everything on-line and make as many people happy and enthusiastic about the car as possible.

JMHO.

The best way to get the gfx done is find a good shop and have them painted on.

I believe that you can buy them all seperatly considering they're not packages, and it wouldn't be riceish to add that to a v6...it's a Camaro. It's not like you have a Civic and are adding a wide mouth ground f/x kit that doesn't flow with the overall line design of the car. It's built to flow.

Apparently only if you pay to have them repainted yourself.

IMO they need to offer some unpainted ones for less money for those of us that want them body color.

Don't knock another man's bread, because you don't like the flavor.

I can't see why anyone would want the ground effects in a non body color paint. Just doens't make any sense to me...
