Either your a troll or just trying to start a huge topic , or you are Shaq.
Really- a Troll? What is it with people accusing folks of being Troll's lately when they have a question and they are new to the Camaro world? I thought the idea of C5 was to encourage people to be a part of the community, and to be helpful where we can.

no offense OP but if you're that tall you should know better than to get a sunroof in a car w/ such a low ceiling

i'm 6'1, which is fairly tall but nothing ridiculous, and i didn't even like the sunroof. i assume you're taller than me too

Again I really don't see the need to point out that you are 6'5.5" using NFL equipment. I think we are all educated people and understand what half an inch is. I think it was just an excuse to point that out as a gloating statement.

I am sorry that you were shot, I know how it is to get injured and have it end your career. A similar thing happened to me while deployed after 9/11. Its a bit of a private subject but if you want to talk about it offline we can. I just don't like to bring it up COMPLETELY unrelated to the topic. But I digress....

Jstyle,

I didn't have time to read all the posts, but I'm 6'5" tall and with the seat back all the way, and the pan portion of the seat (where yer butt sits) positioned all the way down and the steering wheel telescoped towards you, I gathered more leg room to where I could relax my legs and that lowered my torso down from the sun roof.

Dunno how tall you are, and maybe you have a longer torso, but if people were any taller than 6'6"-6'7", I don't feel they could drive this car comfortably at all.

Good luck, dude.

I'm 6'4" and was concerned about head room so I opted to stay away from the sunroof to gain more room.

No, seriously. I wish I could have had a sunroof. My last Camaro had t-tops and I loved those (they were actually good for extra head room...lol)

With the wheel telescoped all the way out, and the seat leaned way back, I could clear the headliner in a 5G sunroof car, but the lean was too uncomfortable. Had to stretch my arms forward too much to grab the wheel.

You naysayers forget that bodies are very, very weird. What works for one person may or may not work for another of the same height. I've forever had a long torso and shorter legs...

At 5'11" my hair rubs in a sunroof camaro. I have a non sunroof camaro coming in a few weeks because it fits me. don't care if your 12 feet tall and fit in one with a sun roof. I don't! (can't believe all the smart a@@ comments and arrogance that comes off this site! but at least there is a lot of good info mixed in with all the testosterone.)

I have the same problem in the morning for two reasons.

1) I'm pretty tall but by the end of the day, the problem doesn't exist. (you aren't as tall in the afternoon as you are in the morning).

2)I have some pretty "poofy" hair and when it gets long it will touch the headliner. But its no biggy.

I have the same issue, but I squeek by just barely. I am 6ft 2" and my hair does static up a little but I put the seat at the bottom and pput my seatback a bit more and its just fine. I am glad i now have a 2011 2ss that has a HUD as the steering wheel is always blocking the guages. Still love this car more than any other!
