I so want mine now, today, this minute. I know I know Patience right? Just like you all had to have who ordered them like last year.. Some lucky enough to drive on the lot and get one that day would be cool ..

Good story and I wonder if they will add the option for the rear camera I would buy it.

Hennessey vs. GT500

Don't know if anyone's posted this yet or not (didn't see it), but Edmunds has a comparison test between the Hennessey 550 and the Ford GT500.

Exclamation wimpy rear end

Has anyone seen any published reports about the rear axle failure on the new Camaro V8? Is Government Motors keeping this under wraps?

Its generally agreed that the less than ideal visibility causes more blind spots and so the car felt bigger than it was. However (and I'm sure owners will back me up on this) this should go away once you get used to driving the car, something thats impossible when you only have it for an afternoon. I don't remember how communicative it is but the steering weight is said to be neutral to light.

Just read a great story called "Blood Feuds" in the new Automobile Magazine. They have two race car drivers compare the SS to the Mustang GT. Some interesting insights like "It's a pig" with regards to the Camaro's Steering. Overall, the power of the SS dominates (as we all know). Online version not there yet, but its worth picking up.

That's generous for TTAC. They're not exactly known for being GM fanboys.
