How much do you reckon they will be selling it for and will
It likely get the same gearbox as the CTS-V or the sAme generics?

It'd be interesting if there was. However, the only way it'd be interesting is if it used the same quality components as the GT500 so you could easily bump the power way up without consequence.

Price, don't count on it being less than $50 000 US (or $60 000 up here ... )

As for the gearbox, no idea.

I was a hold out for a posible Z28 up until about 2 weeks ago when i ordered a 2SS/RS. If it ever happens i wouldn't expect it untill at least a year after the convertable....i may just have to own 2 camaros.

I'm hearing that today the ********* will start producing a fleet of cars getting 35 1/2 mpg for the entire fleet. This will happen by 2016 and a universal emissions test. Sooo...forget the Z28 and buy your Camaro now. Remember this is the change a lot of people voted for!

I heard that this morning. They are pushing for cars to be cleaner. Looks like the revived muscle car rebirth will be dead before it begins :(

Yeah i think the window is rapidly closing.... We need to see a Z28 no later than model year 2012 I think, or we run the chance of not seeing one at all :(

Even if a Z28 came out.........I would just mod my SS and make it faster than the Z28 anyways. Doesnt matter either way for me.....
