Just kinda funny you added the z28 threads to the PWII and then posted to it...

Yes, but the law of diminishing returns says that price will increase faster than performance, so a lower cost car would be more of a value.

Besides, we know how much LS3's, LSA's, LS7's, and LS9's cost, so assuming that a top of the line Camaro would start with a 2SS and add to it, it becomes impossible for the car to cost $40 000 since there will be more than just an engine swap done.

LS7?

And/Or...

LS9/LSA?

The tallying continues...

This from the "2010 COPO Camaro...Want one?" Thread...

And there IS "interest" from some significant people within the industry...

Is there "significant interest" among money-$pending buyers?

To clarify, neither is referring to a Z28...from GM...

And neither is referring to a GM "build"...

BUT...they DO refer to a "Dealer-available" Camaro...

There ARE "other avenues"...
the fact that performance shops are creating hot-rod packages don't mean that GM will just give in & make a factory package right now.

There was a review of the new muschle cars on MSN. Here's a quote:

Chevy’s just-released Camaro delivers the base LS and LT V6 and performance-happy SS V8 models, but its highly anticipated Z28 flagship now appears stillborn. Developed and ready for production, the exciting Z28 is not likely to appear while General Motors is under such scrutiny that President Barack Obama is dictating who’ll run the company.

This thread can be answered by this thread.

It'd be nice but I can't see it.
