Well I'm pretty sure I'm not gonna do it...but if somebody pays for whatever mods they like I'm pretty sure they don't care about you laughing bcause they modded it to their liking right...Anyway for now I'm gonna buy the SS, and wait and see what happens for a Z28

I thank that that can put the LS7 in there and that can get the Z06 over 20 MPG and if they do that it would be cheaper than a LSA and would in my mind be the beter choice and would be refreshing compared to that winey eningen from the GT500

I'm sure a lot of people would care. you know how disrespectful people view being laughed at like that is?
If someone were to just slap a supercharger and some exhaust mods on and then some Z28 badges I'd call them a posers. Just like all the mustang guys that have the GTR badges on their car. posers/wanna-bes. and you know how many of those guys would want to fight if you called them that? pretty much all of them. seen it time and time again. but if you feel you can be the better man and ignore people when they laugh at you. I say do what you want. just expect to get laughed at or whatever. hell expect to get laughed at for driving a camaro in this day and time. especially by evo guys. . .

At first i didn't care, but now i am really sorry the V8 will be called SS, and not Z28.

Well me I do my own thang you know...LoL! I don't care about people laughin at me. I don't have time for what they wanna do...I just handle my bizness and go on with my life ya'know...anyway I don't wanna do that to my car so it doesn't matter. But what I do wanna do after I pay the car off is get an LS7 installed and badge it up as an SS 427!!! Get a whole new suspension kit and all that other good stuff!!! give me you guys's feedback on what you think please!!! Will this get laughed at???

IMVHO - just make the car yours. If people laugh, they laugh, but they didn't put in on your car. I'd be a lot of those people are just jealous they don't have a better car. Do your thing

Just say, It's a prototype that the factory let me drive until the real one comes out... then walk away..LOL...

Seriously, it is your car and you can put anything on it you want. you don't need to please anyone but yourself, and if you like the way it looks who cares what others think. I say leave them guessing...
By the way My HHR, before they anounced the HHR SS I did some things to mine and called it an SS, the local dealer had people coming in and wanting to Order an SS because they saw mine ....

Good choice of engine. It would be awesome in a Camaro. If I were to do it, I wouldn't badge it as anything. In fact it would be impossible to know what was in it. Much like the original COPO cars or ZL1! But to each his own. Fix your car the way you like it....doesn't matter what people think. Its not their car.

The LS7 won't be around much longer. They are killing that engine. To expensive to make. The price on it used to be 17k, I'm not sure if it still is. Way too much money to spend on a crate engine.

I didn't think they would stop selling them, just stop putting them in the vette.

Well what I heard was the engine was canceled for production, I took it as it was totally erased from all production, regular and aftermarket. I could be wrong. That is still too much money though.
