You have them - run them until they are spent. It will give you time to save up for a good set. Heck, you never know they may be the best thing since sliced bread.

I voted No, but only if you have the money to get new ones (and by new ones, I mean nice performance tires), or these just don't feel safe.
Tires make a huge difference in how a car feels, especially if you use it as intended. And, you are right to think about the safety factor. So if you go the money and/or they don't feel safe to you... replace them with some good tread. Otherwise, just keep 'em until they look or feel ready to replace.

You've got TPMS.....keep an eye on them visually.....you own em, and they cost 0.....every mile you get out of them is a free tire-wear Mile compared to buying a new set out of pocket right now.

Why would you say that for!!!!
The V6 (RS) goes just as fast(Top Speed) as the V8 (155mph) If you have the 18 inch wheels then yes its set at 118MPH. If you have the 19 inch or the 20's its set at 155mph = Like the SS Someone said: It's based on the speed rating of the tires. If you got the all season tires that are rated to 118, the car is computer-limited to 118. if you got the higher speed rated tires, the limiter would be 155..... So what your saying is all I have to do is change the tires? No, changing the tires doesn't change the computer. Your computer is set based off the tires put on it during assembly. If you have 18 inch wheels , you'd have to change tires AND get the computer tuned to remove the limiter.

you've got 4 tires. While these may not be the greatest for high speed cornering or anything like that I'm sure they're good enough for day to day use.
Run them, if they start giving you problems, replace them. I will not replace the P-Zero's with more P-zeros'. While the dry traction is excellent the 30,000 mile treadlife is a tough pill to swallow at the price of these things. |
