Just thought I would drop by and say hey to the future neighbors!

I will be moving to Everett in about 4 months.

Anyone know of nice places to live in the area?

Did you know it rains everyday up here.

Not sure about Everetts best area to live but its a busy city.

The one thing that will take more getting used to, is the cruddy roads and traffic jams. Best to store your Camaro during the rainy days and drive it on sunny ones. Which we do have. Just not as many as AZ or Ca. The best part of WA is offroading in the mountains (not in a Camaro) and certain highways make for excellent road trips. Hwy 101 aroung Oly Peninsula is one of my favorites. Chuckanut drive is nice and Mt Baker Hwy is great too. Everett is not too far from Mt Baker.

I am a former arizona boy trust me its not bad up here. I will take this weather anyday
compared to the 100+ temps for months.
anyway are you going to work in everett or what?
I live in arlington its half hour drive from everett and there is no real traffic around here
its like living in the country but close to the city.
let me know if you have any local questions

Likewise, I'm a Texas boy myself. Don't miss those 100 degree days. Tons of stuff to do and see in WA. Wouldn't want to live anywhere else.

since you are from south cali you shouldnt worry much about emissions because washignton state & cali is about the same now, in some areas.

if you can it be better to live either north or east of where you are stationed at. housing prices can be out of control

Welcome, We say it rains all the time to keep the naysayers out.

All joking aside AZ is cool, but you can't beat the mountains and views in the summer. Plus if you enjoy the outdoors as I do then you will be in heaven.
As for Everett living not real sure part of the greater King County area housing is little more, but not as high as others in King area. I know a few people up their, but most live out side the King area and commute. That's also a problems do to traffic and such. Sorry not much help, pending on were you work and such someone from the area should be more help to you then I.
