It's pretty when it snows here, for the first 5 minutes. Once you've had to get up on the roof and shovel it off a few times it's not fun. The snow here last Winter was piled higher than the sliding doors on our porch. Steve has a plow on his truck, but after a couple of weeks there just isn't anyplace left to put the snow when you move it. Then we seemed to have ice at the beginning or end of each snow storm, making it very hard and heavy to deal with.

One good thing, yes there is something, Steve doesn't work much during the Winter months....and still gets paid. Steve manages a lobster fishing co-op and the boats don't make it out if the weather is too bad.

It does feel like we are expecting....with the planning, and the waiting...and the expense.

I'm thinking that instead of handing out cigars, maybe we'll pass out the diecast hotwheel cars. Could even get creative and mark/sign them with our TPW or build date.

I still can't imagine having to park the new Camaro for the winter. Here in Georgia I will be driving year round. In fact, this will be my daily driver.
