Follow up dyno thread: tire diameter on hp numbers
Alright let’s beat this to death a little more. How does ss tire size vs 1le tire size effect hp numbers? And does the size need to be inputted into the computer
275/40r20 = 28.66 inches tall 285/35r20 = 27.85 inches tall Could this account for a 30-40 hp difference?

I was under the impression this is exactly like gearing. In other words, no. It shouldn't make any difference in measured HP. Just one wheel size will spin faster than the other.

There is no way less than one inch in tire diameter would be worth 30-40 HP

I went from a 28.8" tire to a 25.7" tire. Same numbers
