I would definitely invest in a Zaino car polish kit to take care of that black paint. Black is the most beautiful paint, but can be the hardest to keep clean. I think a great polish will help relieve some swirl mark headaches down the road for you and make it easier to wash. Just my two cents.

Ya, thanks; I've never used Zaino, but heard great things about it.

I'm fortunate in that I have a Z71 as my daily driver, and the Camaro sits in the garage under a car cover 99% of the time. In fact, with all of the rain we've had, I've driven it exactly six times since 22Sept., and it has all of 137 miles on it. I'm hoping to keep it looking fresh by never driving it in the rain, and keeping it inside at all times when not being driven.

Sounds like a plan. By 2015, you should have approximately 4000 miles on it!

Classic Grapevine. Just walk to the parts counter and tell them you want the Impala SS fender badges. It came to about $40.00/pair including taxes.

Check them, though. If you'll notice the passenger side badge is slightly bent, and I didn't notice until I put it on. The first S is perfectly parallel with the "Camaro" badge, but the second one kicks up a little. If I had noticed it before I put it on, I probably could have bent it down a little.

Oh well, when I took it in for the stripes I got another one for 19.00, and it's perfect now.
