and this is where you lose credibility when you quote prices..
coilovers.. https://modbargains.com/h-r-street-p...-camaro-v6-v8/ tvs2300 https://www.phastekperformance.com/2...p-tvs-2300.htm if you paid 8k to forge your motor....you are crazy...you can get a 388 or 416 lsx or dart short block for that or less. fore system you can add every option they offer on a twin pump set up direct from them and not come close. none of you numbers add up even close.

Ok - believe what you will. I know what I spent. Some coil overs cost well over 4K. I got ones that were like 2500 or so. So what? You can spend a lot of money on a car. You are not counting the price to install these items.

Just FYI - trade in price for a 2013 ZL1 camaro with 32000 miles is $31k... so why is asking $40k crazy for this when it is better than a ZL1? And the new engine has only 3000 miles on it.

Maybe I am not explaining properly - but I also have thousands of cosmetic as well - this isn't just performance - I have custom paint work, custom vinyl, Rohana RF1 Forged wheels (those aren't cheap - $1200 * 4) - Mickey Thompson Tires ($800 just for the rears), Technostalgia tail lights, internal lighting, floor lighting, all internal lights changed, remote control lighting, Oracle side marker concept mirrors ($700), Oracle side LED sidemarkers - Plus install is very expensive for all this stuff. I also got custom carpets, custom sound system (was over $5k). I mean, I am adding this ass up as I go and I am well over $100k already and I haven't even counted most of the install time (which is the most expensive part). I haven't counted the cradle bushings, sway bars, chassis braces, trailing arms, toe rods, coil overs, cold air intake, catch can, transmission cooler, Lingenfelter 2-step controller, line lock, custom wiring and buttons in the dash, custom engraving... **** - it might actually be over $200k when I add it up....

I was in touch with a guy selling a 2013 1le with a built stroked motor, supercharger, heads and cam plus other stuff and he was asking 28k. There is a 1le on facebook near me that is supercharged and a built motor. He is aaking 38k and haa been sitting on it for 6 months. When your asking 40k...i think a lot of people realize they arent far off from a 6th gen zl1. |
