Many years ago, a buddy of mine and I spotted an upright piano laying part way over the white line on a curve. It was at night on a country road. With the help of a couple of other strong backs, we loaded it up on the back of his pick up and took it to his house.

Long story short, he found the owners through a classified Lost and Found ad. He did a few repairs, tuned it (so he could play it...he was an awesome musician) and they were very happy to get it back. They were moving from somewhere else in the state and had it on the back end of a trailer and had no idea where they lost it.

Anyways, I fabricated the tow hook from some I’ve seen online out of 4130 cm. Don’t plan on having to use it but, nice to have it there if needed.
Nicely done bro!!

Best advice I can give you is, start small and work your way into bigger projects. Learn as you go.

I can follow step by step instructions but unfortunately I don't have a lot of intuitive sense when it comes to mech-ing on stuff. That and my lack of patience ruins my ability to work on projects. I did a lot of stuff on my cars back in the day due to finances, but have been thankful for not being in that situation for many years...grin...

Just picked the car up about 10 days ago. Under 8k miles on it, but original tires were dry rotted. Swapped to wheels and tires off an 18 SS.

Once you've taken your bumper cover off you'll appreciate the small things too like the bungee cord from the door handle to the fender liner. That liner will chafe your arm to pieces while trying to get to the inside upper bolts. It's a great idea!
