Build numbers

Is it correct that last 5 digits of 2015 z28 vin # is where build number is located ?? New here I apologize if I’m doing this wrong. Thank you in advance

Last 6 give full identity... 69xxxx = CTF (captured test fleet). 70xxxx = general production.

Each year has potential duplicates of the last 4 digits with CTF cars and general production. 509 produced in 2014. 1292 produced in 2015. 1801 in total.

A buddy helped me replace the differential and transmission fluids today, we used 4x axel stands and 4x low profile jacks to ensure the car was level. Transmission oil appeared good, the differential oil definitely needed changing at 31k miles!

Except for the service item schedule in the handbook, what would the dealer be on the look out for?

Decided to do it by myself at a friends' house who has a lift.

Relatively side question but could I use a Pennzoil 5W40 or do I have to stick with a Dexos oil pf the manufacturer recommended viscosity?
