How to clear theft attempted message? - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

I have searched this and found lots of guesses but nothing that seems definitive. Does anyone know how to clear a "theft attempted" code or message so it doesn't appear everytime I start my 2015 Camaro? I know how to clear the display after I start it, Im talking about fixing it so it doesn't appear.

Return the vehicle to the rightful owner?

If that isn't an option, maybe try disconnecting the battery. But adding this with your other post, you may have an issue with a module and the vehicle should probably be scanned with a scanner that can read all of the modules to see what codes are set.

unhooked the battery, let it sit 10 minutes, fixed. Thanks.

Been leaving a maintainer on the battery as was suggested to me. That fixedd the alarm problem, battery must be gettng weak also.
