Ever Cured Issues with a Tune Reflash?
I'm taking about reflashing the same tune, not an 'updated' one. Having some paddle shift glitches on 1-2 shifts. Hesitation that wasn't there before. Pissin' in the wind?

I don't think that it will fix anything but won't hurt anything either.

I'm still a little unclear on whether you have "unlimited" flashes on the same "married" vehicle or if there is only a handful of times you can reflash your tune. Anyone know for sure? Maybe Mr. Jannetty? Thx.

I'm just operating under the premise that everything from my microwave to my tv, to my computer to my alarm system gets 'fixed' with a reboot. How is this dissimilar?

Reboot for a car is to disconnect the battery. Or you can do a trans relearn. Drivetrain modules don't seem to have issues with losing hard coded data.
I don't know how the SCT handles programming. HPT is unlimited for the licensed vehicle. |

I don't think it matters if it's a car or a helicopter. I'm not saying that's what's wrong with mine but if it has a computer in it, it's prone to issues. I can apparently reflash my married vehicle as many times as I want. The scanner still says I have 5 left and I know I've done it at least two other times, maybe three.

I ultimately decided against another reflash. I figure file corruption happens the more times it's stepped on.

Kinda forgot about this thread. I changed spark plugs (at about 35K miles) and all the hesitation and hiccups went away. This was about 5K miles ago.
People said I was nuts to change plugs that early but...they were 9 years old. And I claim it cured my problem!
