I've found a few threads of failures, all seem to be heat related and all seem focused around the C5/C6 Corvettes. Their motor mounts are a good bit shorter than ours so that does not help much when the bushing is poly and not rubber. I think with more airflow around our mounts, being that they are longer and the engine sits up higher, there will be less chance of failure.

I will say the oem mounts are looking like a better option at the moment knowing there have been failures with these mounts/bushings. I wish Hinson Motorsports made a motor mount for our cars like they do with the C5/C6.

I ordered the mounts off eBay for $149. They arrived today. Wow... I was very surprised at the size and quality. They look much smaller in the eBay photo. I will be installing them on Saturday, so I'll give an update then... but so far I'm giving them a 10!

I installed them tonight and am very impressed. There's definitely vibration at low rpm...at cruising speeds you can't really tell. Throttle response and shifts are much quicker and tighter. At idle there are no rattles, the engine does not shake like before...the whole car shakes...but minimal. For me, this was a great mod!

Could you give a long term review? I just bought those, I was thinking about BMRs and these, but everyone seemed to complain about BMR’s vibration and stiffness for street use, so I went the Torque Solutions. Do you regret it after the long run or is it really good?

Thanks in advance!
