New Chevy motor

Looks like a crate version of the L8T truck engine. Been thinking about dropping an L8T into my `77 Trans AM. Here's more info from Hot Rod:

That's been available for awhile now. It's a 6.6 L8T with a camshaft upgrade essentially. I don't believe it's going to be utilized in any production vehicles.

The L8P makes peak power @ 5800rpm just like the LT1 and LT 2 eninge. It will rev higher than 6k. That is max recommended rpm. The cam is a 218/231 .549 lift, it was available for sale at SDPC but looks like it's now discontinued.

Idk if it’s just me the experience of that car is mainly the sound and feel of a Pontiac engine. 400 428 455 all have very different power bands. Pick your flavor. Just my $0.02
